WHO WE ARE
The company FISHCORP S.A. was incorporated on August 7, 1996, in the canton Jaramijó province of Manabí-Republic of Ecuador. It is located at Km. 4 1/2 via Manta – Rocafuerte. It started its activity in the national market as a factory for fresh fishing and shrimp.
In December 2008, it began processing pre-cooked, vacuum-packed and frozen tuna fish slice, with a production capacity of 25 tons of loins per day.
In mid-2013, the company expanded its range of products by starting to produce tuna cans in presentation of half a pound in formats of 140 to 200 grams, with a production capacity of 4000 boxes per day.
In April 2015 the line of preserves in pouch is inaugurated for the traditional presentations of 1, 3, 5 and 7 Kilograms, with a capacity of 8 Tons of pouch per day.
FISHCORP S.A. has a cold storage of 3000 Tons, and a fishing vessel of 240 Tons.
FISHCORP S.A. It complies with the internal legal regulations as a food processing plant, among the country’s control entities based on food safety with high quality parameters and is certified by BRC, IFS, FDA, HACCP, DOLPHIN SAFE, ECUADOR love life.
Business relations are maintained with leading companies in the European Community, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Venezuela and the United States. Today our tuna company exports its products to 18 countries, between America and Europe.
The company has an area of land of 60000 m2. Its facilities include the following:
– 3 industrial warehouses, with an area of 1800 m2.
– Machinery for the the canned tuna process, pouch and loins pre-cooked, frozen and vacuum packed.
The company’s installed capacity is 25 Tons per day of frozen tuna loins, 4000 boxes of tuna per day, 8 Tons of pouch per day and a storage chamber for 3000 Tons.
